Graphics,
audio, and video:
Students
will be introduced to Google Earth using Edmodo. Students will be presented
with a video on the overview of Google Earth. Camtasia will be used as a
step by step guide on the tools available in Google Earth. Students will
search the Gallery for images of Hurricane Sandy. Upon completion of
viewing student’s will post their overall impression of Google earth to the
discussion board.
By having
the students view the devastation that a hurricane creates I hope will be
enough to engage them. The visual of what the East Coast looked like before
and after Hurricane Sandy will hook them on how they view what a natural
disaster does to the communities that are affected.
